Brothers and Sisters,

First of all, let me say thank you to those who took the time out of your busy schedule to help change the future by coming out yesterday to vote for our new District 75 Business Representative!

However, let me also say how extremely disappointed I was to see that only 11, yes I said eleven, people showed up to vote out of the 322 active members in the lodge. 6 of those 11 are board members or hold a position within the local lodge. So in reality there were only 5 from the general membership that came out to vote. With the 11, that is 0.034% of the membership. Pretty sad.

I have heard numerous times, how you wished you had better representation when it came to YOUR Business Rep and this was the prime opportunity to help change the ways of the future and you have failed.

My dad always told me that if you don’t vote, you have no grounds to stand on when it comes to complaining.
